Manotick Art Association

Don't miss one of the most popular Art shows in the Ottawa Region.
Held at the Curling Rink in Manotick,
The show opens with a Vernissage, Friday 13th 6.30 – 9.30 pm. Tickets are required.
Saturday the 14th 10.30 a.m. - 4.30 p.m. Free
Sunday the 15th 10.30 a.m. - 4.30 p.m. Free
Tickets for the vernisage are $10 and include wine and appetizers.
Tickets are for sale at Office Pro and Lindsay & McCaffrey in Manotick. Tickets may also be purchased through Paypal via our website www.manotickart.ca.
NOTE: Vernissage tickets have SOLD OUT BEFORE the show for the past three years. Don’t be disappointed. Act fast!.
Parking is free, and admission is free Friday, Saturday and Sunday .
I will be featuring a number of my recent paintings, three of which are shown in the collage below.

- Sunflowers - Acrylic

Spring Display of Art at the RA
Art Lending of Ottawa spring event will be on Saturday, 03 March 2018 in the Outaouais Room at the RA Centre, 2451 Riverside Dr. Ottawa from 10 am to 5 pm.
At the show you can rent or purchase original art by local area artists. A variety of mediums, styles and sizes are available. The show features, free admission and parking.

1 Shenkman Arts Center - July 21 - August 22
Shenkman Arts Centre is home to six visual arts exhibition spaces as well as public art installations. Works by a diverse set of local, regional and national artists are exhibited throughout the Centre. Manotick Art Association is showing a variety of members works in the Trinity Gallery. Admission to all of the galleries is free. Meet the artists at monthly receptions. Consult our Events Galendar for details.

2 Manotick Library - July 26 to August 30
A selection of my pictures will be on display at the Manotick Library until August 30th.
3 Millers Oven, Manotick - August 30 to Sept 27
A selection of paintings will be on display in their Restaurant. It is a cozy little spot with that hometown cooking and feel. They feature selections of paintings from Manotick Art Association members, which are renewed on a monthly basis.

Thanks to those that dropped by my booth to say hello in April at the Manotick Art Show.
The next upcoming event will be June 3rd at the RA Center.
Art Lending Association of Ottawa is holding its next event June 3 from 10:00 to 4:00 at the RA Centre next to Billings Bridge on Riverside Drive. Full details are listed in the events section of my site, suemoxleyart.ca. Art Lending is an organization of juried artists, that sell and lease paintings on behalf of their members. In keeping with the Summer theme I will be featuring a selection from my flower gallery for sale or lease. These five painting are shown below, for those that are interested in a sneak preview or are unable to attend.

The use of resin over watercolour both enriches and protects the underlying colours resulting in a stunning effect.
